The ancient DIVINE LOTUS LAMP (SRI PADMADEEPA) is the last refuge. When every thing falls you, when you are desperate, when you face business losses, when you faces serious family problems..
Whenever there is the Supreme Lord Krishna the master of those following the science of uniting the individual consciousness with the ultimate consciousness and wherever there is Arjuna, there is firmly established fortune, victory, power and virtue. This is my resolve..

Srimad Bhagavat Gita is the core of 'Bharatiya Darasana' or indian concept on a number of paths of thoughs regarding vedanta, theology, philosophy etc. Comprised in seven hundred verses and is a part of the great epic Sri Mahabharatha written by Sage veda vyasa. Lord Krishna admonished Gita to the defected Arjuna who was returned to fight against his own relative ,friend and gurus.Conceiving this great advise,Arjuna recovered himself and took the bow and arrows and get ready for war.

Actually Gita has not diffrentiated Asthika or Nasthika. The essence of gita is 'Karmayoga'. Do your duty what ever may be the result'

Some people thinks gita is a religious book. some thinks that it is a dharma sasthra and some other thinks that it is thatwa sasthra. But the truth is that Gita is all this.

There were great studies of this book by great peoples, Shankaracharya found his Advaita siddanta from Gita. Ramanujacharya sought his 'Vishistadvaitha' from this book, Balagagadhara Tilakan adopted it as karmayayoga shashtra. Nimbarkor,Gnanaeswar etc. gave importance to bhakthi yoga. Mahatma Gandhi gave importance to 'Anasaktha karama'. Aurobindo and Acharya Vinobobhave thought that Gita is the combination of Bhakthi,Gyan and Karma yogas.

Gita was translated to English language in 1785 by charles wilkins.

There are many schools of teaching about Gita. Gayathri Srilakom also has its own version of thinking and teaching of the great words of Lord Krishna. Srilokam has simplified it in such a way to lead a material & spiritual life successfully. The Gita guide lines of Gitamarutha as we call it are designed to succeed in every aspect of life in the spiritual way resulting a serene life.
